Banana Cookies

This fun recipe is so easy, even a 2 year old would enjoy it!

1st.......Peel a banana and cut it into wheels.  I let Carolyn use a spreader to cut the banana, but when she was little she used a popsicle stick.

2nd........fill a ziploc bag with graham crackers and crush them with a rolling pin.

3rd...fill the graham cracker bag with the cut banana wheels and shake to coat them.

Voila!  Banana Cookies.  Delicious!

Electrical Tape Shape Trace

Grab some colored electrical tape from your local Wal-Mart store or Dollar Store.  The Dollar Tree, (my favorite Dollar Store) usually has 4-5 colors for $1!  A package from Wal-Mart is usually about $3-4.

Tape of various shapes in different colors on your carpet or garage floor.
For example:  blue triangle, red rectangle, yellow square, green circle.

You can create strips of directions that your child can draw.  Each strip would have directions for your child.  Throw bean bag (or sock roll) to the red rectangle.  Hop on the blue triangle.  Stick your elbow in the yellow square, etc.

Get creative with it.  This is a great way for your kid to learn their shapes and colors.
Have fun will your child.
