In honor of the anniversary of Ben Franklin's kite experiment in 1752, I want to share this awesome kite tutorial with you. At the store I work at, mommyshop in Overland Park, we made these fun, easy, downloadable kites during spring break. About 40 kids showed up to make these and ran up and down the sidewalk flying these simple kites. This website is great. They even have a step-by-step video to show you how to fold your very own kite.
We have made this downloadable kite pattern many times. It is simple to fold and really works!
Items you need:
Straws
String
pencil
cardstock
streamers
Love this idea! We will have to try this soon!
